

She was the sister of Marie White of Woburn, the late Margaret DeBenedictis, Helen McKenna, Elizabeth Collupy, Arthur, Harriett, Charles, and Laurence McNeil. She was the loving mother of Paul & his wife Carolyn of Woburn, Robert & his wife Michelle of Pepperell, the late Daniel & his wife Debra of North Reading. She made her family and faith foremost in her daily life. She had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother and often prayed to her for guidance and protection. She was a member of the Women’s Sodality and enjoyed daily mass. She had a strong Catholic faith and was a longtime member of St. She enjoyed going on car rides, especially when the destination included an ice cream. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, and making afghans and dolls. She loved her home and never felt the need to travel. She ran the house and was the glue that kept everyone and everything in order. She had 3 sons and spent their childhood years nurturing, guiding, supporting, and showcasing her values, faith, and morals with her boys. She married Roger Slack in 1950 and they settled in Woburn and started a family.

She was educated in the Burlington Schools and then went to work on the assembly line of the Schrafts Chocolate Factory in Charlestown. She grew up in family of 10 in a small house in Burlington.
